Reese Witherspoon might be recognized by many as one of America's sweethearts. However, it would turn out that not everybody actually looks at her that way.
The amazingly beautiful Oscar winner has admitted that her children with ex-husband Ryan Philippe, Ava, 15 years old and Deacon, 11 years old, are actually pretty mortified by her.
She told Ellen DeGeneres when she recently appeared on famous talk show, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "It's gotten worse. My 11-year-old has gotten so embarrassed of me, he said to me. We were driving in the car and I had my coffee cup there and he said, 'The lipstick on your coffee cup is so embarrassing!'"
The 38-year-old "Wild" actress only laughed it off. She said, "I was, like, 'Well, get over it kid because I have a lot of lipstick!'"
Fortunately for the "Sweet Home Alabama" star, one of her children is still happy to be seen spending time with her in public. Tennessee, two years old, the son whom she had with her second husband, Jim Toth, even wants to take pictures with his internationally famous mother. Of course, Toth is also always proud to have Reese Witherspoon clinging on to his arm.
"It means everything to me that he's always just telling me how great I am and how much he loves what I do," Reese Witherspoon shared. "I feel very blessed."
The upcoming drama flick, "Wild," shows a different side to the popular actress. The film, which is directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, talks about a woman who is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, which is 2,663 miles from the US border at Mexico to the US border at Canada.
Initially, fans were doubtful about why the woman was hiking or what kind of drama the movie's makers would attempt to wring from the hike. Many were not immediately attracted to the film's concept. However, famous film critics have praised "Wild" for being tough, sentimental, and honest. It is believed to be a pretty major piece of work for Reese Witherspoon.
