Obese man dies in chair - In 2011, one of the most morbid cases concerning obesity and death involved a man from Ohio. The obese man had been found stuck to his chair for two years where he had been sitting in his own faeces and urine. How heavy did the obese man weigh?
The obese man died in chair in 2011 has yet to be identified. He was however 43-years old when he died. It was his girlfriend who had found him in such a deplorable condition. On Sunday of March 2011, the girlfriend found the obese man unconscious. Emergency services had to be called to free the obese man from his chair.
Earlier reports claim that the obese man's skin had fused to parts of the chairs' fabric. He had reportedly been stuck in the said chair for almost two years. The obese man died in chair, which had already been infested by maggots living off his faeces and urine.
"The chair was very filthy, a lot of odor to it. Going in the house, the house was not clean," says public health officer, Jim Chase. "The living room where the man lived in his chair was very filthy, very deplorable. It's unbelievable that somebody lives in conditions like that."
Emergency service authorities had no choice but to cut a hole in the wall of the obese man's home. Before the obese man died in chair, he was rushed to the Wheeling Hospital. Yet, given his critical condition he had died on the way.
The weight of the obese man died in chair has not been released by emergency service authorities who handled the case. As for what led to such obesity, the obese man's girlfriend claims he had insisted to be fed only soft drinks and junk food. The obese man reportedly refused to stand up from the chair, let alone exercise or get himself checked.
