Monica Bellucci will be one of the two Bond girls that are going to be featured in an upcoming James Bond blockbuster entitled, "Spectre." Fans of the iconic franchise have long been waiting to see the return of Daniel Craig as the dashing 007, but they are also interested to know more about the beautiful 50-year-old actress.
It was announced on Thursday that the latest girls to leave the brooding secret agent stirred and shaken in the famous franchise's 24th installment are Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci.
The Italian actress oozed sex appeal as she donned a red and black dress that perfectly hugged her figure. At 50 years old, she has officially become the oldest actress to land a Bond girl role. She took over Honor Blackman's spot, who was 39 years old when she played the role of Pussy Galore in "Goldfinger" in 1964.
This role is actually poignant for Bellucci. Most fans might not be aware that she actually almost played Paris Carver in "Tomorrow Never Dies" in 1997, only to lose out to Terri Hatcher. Fortunately, she finally got to land a Bond girl in the upcoming action-filled flick as the gorgeous Lucia Sciarra.
The raven-haired siren said, "James Bond is our fantasy - the ideal man. The man is a protector. He is dangerous, mysterious and sexy, and a perfect English gentleman."
Although she is a good actress, she pays a lot of respect to the role of the director. She was asked during an exclusive Monica Bellucci interview with regards to what she thinks makes an efficient Bond girl. She only answered, "A good director."
It certainly looks like James Bond will be having his hands full in "Spectre" as there will be, not one but, two Bond girls in it. Bellucci will be joined by Lea Seydoux, who, in turn, looked very chic in a ruffled black dress that was adorned with yellow accessories.
