UFC contender Bethe Correia threatens to beat the UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey out. She says she will make the champion wipe the floor off in the first round. "...but first I'll do her a favor and knock that mole off her face with a punch." Correia said.
Correia is the undefeated Brazilian Star (9-0) and is known as the "Horsewoman Killer" as she had proclaimed the title herself. This is in reference to "The Four Horsemen". As the star progresses in the bantamweight division and the possibility to face Rousey (10-0) gets closer, the tension between them also rises.
Correia had recently defeated Jessamyn Duke by decision last April; and in August, she was able to knock Shayna Baszler down. This victory pushed her all the way up and left no opponent other than Rousey. The Brazilian, however, is currently at rest as she is currently putting through with an injury nonetheless plans on returning in March 2015. Of no doubt, Correia is determined to get face-to-face with Ronda Rousey the soonest.
Rousey on the other hand is scheduled at UFC 184 to defend her title against Cat Zingano. There are also a few fights along the way with the likings of Cris "Cyborg" Justino and Holly Holm. Certainly, challenges and attempts to take the belt from the champion do not come of short. In Correia's part, this is an opportunity to remind Rousey that The Horsewoman Killer is still up for a match.
Correia mentioned that she wants Rousey to beat Zingano as fast as she can and be sure that she has no injuries of any sort so they can fight right after. Correia definitely wants to be the one to take the title from the champion. She said she has already killed two horsewomen and she will take on the number one.
