Dumbwaiter elevator - A student from the Wisconsin State University identified as Brooke Baures died Monday after getting stuck in a 3 by 3 foot elevator. Investigations regarding her bizarre continue as no eyewitness has come out regarding details as to how Baures ended up in the small elevator.
A Wisconsin restaurant in the small town of Fountain City, WI, was home to Baures as she had worked at the said place. Who would have thought that minutes after she was set to serve food, she'd be found lifeless in the most unlikely of places in the restaurant - the dumbwaiter elevator.
Baures was found by a co-employee working at the WingDam Saloon and Grill. A frantic 911 call made by the employee details the details of Baures' time of death, stating she was "caught in, like, our dumbwaiter" elevator. Judging from the call made, the caller was already in tears thus unable to identify Baures at first.
It wasn't until cops fled to the scene that it was indeed the gymnast student from Wisconsin State University, Baures that was found dead in the dumbwaiter elevator. Her death has struck investigators as bizarre citing that this was no accident.
"The device is generally known as a dumbwaiter. It's an elevator which moves food and other items from the first floor to the second floor," says Police Officer Mork in an exclusive report by Inquisitr. "Everyone knows that something happened absolutely, everyone knew within hours that something tragic happened."
With many of Baures colleagues and friends having described her as "magnetic" and "warm" in personality, it would be surprising that someone had plotted to take her life. No eyewitnesses at the restaurant had seen Baures step into the dumbwaiter elevator.
A multi-agency investigation has already been prompted with regards to the death of Baures in the dumbwaiter elevator. The cause of death is yet to be revealed until an autopsy has been performed.
