California flooding 2014 - The heavy downpour has left dozens of drivers stranded at a parking strip in California, Thursday. Flash floods had occurred after the continuous rainfall. 40 people have already been rescued from the flash floods that took California by storm.
On Wednesday, a warning about the California flooding 2014 was made by CBS News reporter, Ben Tracy. Six inches of rain was reported to occur in parts of the state. Thousands of residents have already been facing problems with flash floods.

"One event isn't going to take away three years of drought," says climatologist Brian Fuchs from the National Drought Mitigation Center of Nebraska in a report by FOX News.
The California flooding 2014 had earlier victimized dozens of drivers at the Riverside County. Flash floods were also noted in the Sacramento freeway by Wednesday. Such instance had paved way to another pair of sinkholes enormous in size in San Francisco. Luckily, no injuries related to the flash flood or the appearance of sinkholes were reported.
Despite the California flooding 2014 that caused numerous drivers and residents to be stranded, a rescue operation had been promptly enacted. Rescuers had pulled out a number of stranded people from the San Jacinto and Hemet areas whereas the water rescue crew had reportedly saved 12 stranded motorists.
In relation still to the California flooding 2014, in southern San Diego County, an 80 feet wide mudflow has been observed in the Alpine area. Most areas of the state have reportedly received around two to four inches of rainfall. Even with the rain, the three year drought problem is yet to be solved.
