Pop legend Elvis Costello is bringing his live show to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Sunday May 20th as part of a short tour of the UK and Ireland.
The English singer, known for his diverse musical accomplishments, is expected to play a number of classics from his own back catalogue as well as a selection of covers.
Uniquely, members of the audience will be invited to rotate the Spectacular Spinning Songbook to choose which classic tunes are played by the group.
This is a concert format Costello first debuted in 1986 at the Beverly Theatre in Los Angeles and has continued to use since, recently enjoying some success with it in the US along with his band The Imposters. The tour was extended three times in order to meet popular demand.
Costello released his debut LP My Aim Is True in 1997 and his most recent studio album National Ransom appeared in 2010.
Tickets for the Bournemouth gig are available from £36.50, with doors set to open at 20:00 BST.
