3 Shootings, 4 Dead In Virginia Amid Thanksgiving Weekend Spree; Suspect In Multiple Murders Still At Large

3 Shootings, 4 Dead Virginia - A tragic incident broke amid Thanksgiving weekend when a Westover man fatally shot four people in three separate shootings, Fox News has learned.

West Virginia State Police has already started a manhunt for the suspect in the 3 shootings, 4 dead Virginia story that took place in the north-central part of the state.

The suspect was identified by authorities a 39-year-old Jody Lee Hunt, who is said to be about 5-foot-9 and weighs approximately 165 pounds. His eyes are green and he was driving a black 2011 Ford F-150 with the registration code of OLK 303 at the time of the killings

Two of the shootings took place in the Westover area while the other shooting happened in the Cheat Lake area in Monongalia County, said County 911 Director Mike Wolfe.

"We ask that everyone stay vigilant and use their discretion about whether they should leave their homes," Wolfe said.

Authorities are advising anyone who has seen Hunt or his car to call the Morgantown State Police Department at 304-258-3200.

It was'n't clear what drove Hunt to carry out the 3 shootings that killed 4 people in Virginia, but WAJR.com reports that he was complaining about a strained relationship with a woman on his Facebook.

"I poured out my heart to her only to be maniupulated as to what I could give her. Life is short. It's not all games. Don't play a game with ones heart," one of his posts read.

"My actions were not right nor were the actions of those who tried to tear me down and take from me. This was not the plan but a struggle to see that those who strives to hurt me received their fair pay of hurt like I received," he added in the same post.

Two of the four victims in the 3 shootings 4 dead in Virginia story were identified as Sharon Kay Berkshire, 39, and Michael David Frum, 28.

Later on another victim was identified to be local towing company J and J Towing owner Doug Brady. The fourth victim is yet to be identified.

It wasn't immediately known why Hunt killed the four victims, but WVMetroNews claims the suspect specifically chose his victims.

Monongalia County Circuit Court documents revealed that Berkshire filed a domestic violent case against the suspect in the quadruple murder in November.

Because of the 3 shootings, 4 dead in Virginia incident, all schools in Monongalia County were immediately placed on lockdown as a precaution, according to Westover Police Sgt. M. Starsick.

Classes were resumed on Cyber Monday as no threats in campuses were found, updates Press TV.
