AK-47 rifle with chainsaw is all you will ever need if the zombie apocalypse ever does occur. The DoubleStar Zombie-X AK-47 is a specially designed weapon for zombie slaying, which quite obviously has been inspired by the likes of "The Walking Dead" and "Resident Evil." So exactly how much does one need to pay for such an awesome and bad-ass weapon?
Though this is not the first time a chainsaw has been attached to a rifle, this is the first time there has been one made to be commercially available. The DoubleStar Zombie-X AK-47 rifle with chainsaw was introduced back in Jan. of 2012.
"The DoubleStar Zombie-X AK-47 is a weapon specially customized to battle zombie hordes by attaching a battery-charged chainsaw to the end of the barrel, as well as a EOTech Zombie Stopper XPS2-Z Holographic Sight which puts a biohazard symbol on your target instead of the classic red dot. DoubleStar hasn't announced when or if this will go on sale, but its less fancy DSC Zombie Slayer predecessor sells for $1,249.99, so the Zombie-X is likely to be a bit pricier," reads the original post of the ad for AK-47 rifle with chainsaw in a report by Geekologie.
The DoubleStar Zombie-X AK-47 rifle with chainsaw had been sold for $1,200 on the Web site, This Is Why I'm Broke, before it was discontinued. With the weapon having been cut off the web, will "The Walking Dead" fans ever get to prepare themselves for the zombie apocalypse in case it does happen? They can only hope that whoever made the AK-47 rifle with chainsaw would start production on the killer weapon again soon.
