Gunman Austin Mall: Shooter Identified As Larry McQuilliams, Fired 100 Rounds, No Injuries Reported, What Was His Motive?

Gunman Austin mall - In Austin, Texas, while a few were all fired up with their Black Friday shopping, one man had been busy firing up a 100 rounds - literally. Larry McQuilliams spent his Friday firing 100 rounds in downtown Austin. McQuilliams motives for the shooting are yet to be known by authorities.

Early Friday with thousands flocking to downtown Texas for Black Friday sales, a gunman Austin mall was spotted. The shooter has already been identified as McQuillians who had reportedly shot 100 rounds in buildings located in downtown Austin. He also had tried to set the Mexican Consulate on fire.

The shooting at downtown Austin was said to have lasted for 10 minutes. As for the failed attempt of setting the Mexican Consulate on fire, the incident was said to have been planned at around 2 in the afternoon.

McQuilliam, the gunman Austin mall, had allegedly died after a confrontation with cops outside Texas' police headquarters. However, investigations are still underway to determine if the shooter was killed by cops or if he had taken his own life.

The gunman Austin mall reportedly had a criminal record. Yet, cops on the case have not given elaborate details with regards to McQuilliam's criminal records. As for the shooting in downtown Austin, no injuries or fatalities have been recorded.

Investigators on the case of gunman Austin mall have proceeded to the shooters' apartment. McQuilliam lived at Austin's southwest neighbourhood which was close to the renowned Zilker Park. One resident who lived in the area, Adam Peyton, claims people living in the neighbourhood were pretty "laid back and close knit."

As for one resident living in the same apartment building as the gunman Austin mall, Sarah Ropp, claims McQuilliam was quiet. He rarely spoke with other tenants at the apartment.

"He was always on the water, always with a couple of beers and music," says Ropp in an exclusive report by MSNews, adding, "We sometimes saw him feeding stray cats."
