Cyber Monday is just two days away, but why wait for it that long when you can have all your cyber goodies as early as Saturday? That's what Amazon and Walmart are doing: bringing everyone the goodness of Cyber Monday starting today.
According to Brevard Times, Amazon and Walmart have decided to give everyone the best Cyber Monday bargains this year, by offering the deals starting the day after Black Friday.
Perhaps the two retailers want to give everyone, who did't get to grab their favourite gadgets on Black Friday, a second chance.
And it looks like it's going to be a win-win situation for their customers, since not only are they starting the Cyber Monday madness this Saturday, but they also extended the supposed to be one-day cyber sale through Friday next week.
Online shopping is about to get crazier since Nov. 29 marks the start of this sale, and most if not all promos and deals will be available until Dec. 5.
So what separates the two retailers in terms of their Cyber Monday offerings?
Walmart is reportedly offering 500 deals on electronics, toys, home decor and apparel online. On the other hand, Amazon has already announced that it is willing to accommodate as many customers as possible online. They are even calling their week-long spectacle "eight days of Cyber Monday."
"We're doubling down on Cyber Monday this year, offering more than twice the number of deals compared to last year, and delivering it on a new web site that makes shopping easier and faster with free shipping on the season's hottest gifts all week long," Fernando Madeira, president and CEO at Walmart.com said.
If you are looking for the retailer that offers free shipping for a $50 minimum purchase, then Walmart is the better choice.
Some of the best discounted Cyber Monday offerings of Walmart include Samsung HD LED TVs, Nintendo 3DS XL, Apple iPad Mini, and a couple of outdoor activity equipment such as a round trampoline and Mountain Bikes, among others.
Interestingly, if you want the best discounts on a variety of products including 3D printers, Sony television sets, Bose headphones, Acer Chromebook and Next Learning Thermostat, among others, then Amazon is the online place to be, reports Beta Wired.
Also, if you want to enjoy never-ending deals and discounts, Amazon is offering new deals every 10 minutes. Plus all deals will be refreshed throughout each day.
International Business Times has learned that Amazon is also offering over 12,00 Blu-ray discs and DVDs, including "The Dark Knight Trilogy" and "House of Cards: Season 2," the entire week through.
Additionally, Amazon is set to launch its exclusive "lightning deals" on Monday via its mobile app on Apple's App Store, Google's Play Store and Amazon's very own, Fire OS.
