Malaysia Airlines Twitter MH370 - The Asian carrier that has suffered a huge setback with two tragedies this 2014 has apparently sparked outrage among many concerned customers who think their latest promotional post on the social networking site was way too "insensitive."
According to Daily Mail, the outrage began when Malaysia Airlines posted a promo tweet for its deals on beleaguered airline routes available util June 2015. Though the carrier didn't intend to cause a huge stir out of the simple post, many were quick to slam MAS for its post that read: "Want to go somewhere, but don't know where Our Year-End Specials might just help! #keepflying."
The first part of the post caught the attention of many people, who quickly regarded it as an "insensitive" remark in relation to the missing MH370 flight.
Updates on the Malaysia Airlines Twitter MH370 incident has now revealed that MA has already removed the week and even apologised for giving people the impression that they are mocking the missing flight.
In a response tweet after the controversial one was removed, MAS wrote, "Our tweet was intended to inspire travellers to explore deals offered. We apologise for any offence caused & have removed it!"
Additionally, the embattled airline thanked everyone who continue to support them amid the tragic incidents they suffered this 2014.
"Thanks for your support... Don't understand all the haters blasting #mas for their promotions? Some people are trying."
Meanwhile, Examiner claims that the Malaysia Airlines Twitter MH370 fiasco was a product of the company's lame attempt at striking some humor at the bad situation they are currently in.
In March, the world was shocked when Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 went missing with 239 people on-board.
Then, four months later, another unfortunate incident happened when Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was fired at by rebels and crashed in Ukraine, killing all 298 passengers, reports PerthNow.com.
Right now the company is planning on laying off more than 6,000 employees as part of its plan to overhaul the airline in hopes of generating profit again by 2017.
Hopefully, their future promotional tweets will have a different effect on their clients and will not suffer the same fate as the controversial and regarded "inesnsitive" Malaysia Airlines Twitter MH370 one.
