George Zimmerman Dead? Former Neighborhood Watch Volunteer Acquitted In Death of Trayvon Martin Is Recent Victim Of Death Hoax

George Zimmerman died reports have gone viral all over the Internet. However, the former neighborhood watch volunteer who was acquitted in the death of teenager Trayvon Martin last year is still alive and kicking.

The report that mentioned Zimmerman's death came from a "satire" news website, NahaDaily. According to the fake report, he apparently got himself killed while clumsily loading his gun.

Although many were quick to believe the death hoax without doing any further research, the source of the fake report actually had a disclaimer. Those who took the time to check out the website will encounter a short blurb that says the report is actually not true.

The disclaimer says, "NahaDaily is completely fictional and is based off of current events in urban culture and entertainment. This is satire and parody."

The bogus article was created to include how emergency responders found George Zimmerman dead body. "911 first responders found George Zimmerman's lifeless body at a Florida gun range after responding to an emergency call that he shot himself while loading his weapon."

There were even fake quotes from a fake first responder, such as, "I'm not saying we took our time getting there, but we've shown up faster to black neighborhoods. If he was a rapper, he'd be more famous now that he's dead. But, nope! Everybody's just glad he's dead."

As soon as this fake death hoax came out, social media users were confused. One Twitter user wrote, "Y'all know George Zimmerman died today, right? For real?" while another posted, "Zimmerman died today???"

It would seem that the Internet was abuzz with George Zimmerman dead, but they were not completely sure if the reports that were being posted online were true or not. Another person wrote, "I saw that Zimmerman died today, by his own hand, with his own gun, by accident. Is that true?"
