Barbara Spradling, a native of Imperial, Missouri, is the woman who got married to Officer Darren Wilson only two months after the brutal shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown. She is 10 years older than Wilson.
The couple decided to officially tie the knot just last month, October of 2014. Their wedding was officiated by Judge Christopher Granville in Overland, Missouri. They now own a home in Crestwood, Missouri, which is 20 miles to the south of Ferguson, the same town where Wilson shot down Brown.
An earlier report mentioned that Wilson and Barbara Spradling had actually purchased the home in October last year. Plus, despite having owned the property since a year ago, the couple has reportedly not been seen around Crestwood since the shooting of Brown.
Barbara Spradling's latest activities on social media were pretty focused on wedding ideas and baby room ideas, which indicate that the couple could be well looking into having kids of their own. Just like her new husband, Spradling is also employed in the Ferguson police department.
She even got her medal of valor for her impressive police work in 2012. However, Spradling has also been linked to the KKK, specifically to Imperial Wizard, Frank Ancona. Ancona blasted the hacktivist group, Anonymous, for successfully hacking into a KKK Twitter account recently.
Barbara Spradling apparently told a friend of her this past August that it was actually the victim, Michael Brown, who started the altercation, leading to his death. It was her friend who informed the Guardian that Barbara Spradling strongly believes the narrative behind the Michael Brown shooting was nothing but a huge "lie."
Moreover, this anonymous friend was also allegedly told by Spradling that Brown's last words were not "don't shoot," which is contrary to what has been reported by others.
