Security breach San Jose Airport - A man had been caught sneaking into San Jose Airport. Even after he was caught by airport authorities, the man identified as Miguel Zaragosa, had tried to escape arrest after stealing a vehicle of a maintenance worker. Zaragosa has been successfully arrested after the incident.
On Sunday, a security breach in San Jose Airport had occurred involving 39-year old Zaragosa. He had somehow gotten into the restricted area of the airport - the loading ramp. The incident of the security breach San Jose Airport occurred at around 10:15 in the morning. Zaragosa. He had entered the restricted area through the south western side of San Jose Airport.
During the security breach San Jose Airporte, workers had immediately seen Zaragosa. Despite being detained by airport officials, Zaragosa managed to break away and steal a truck as his getaway vehicle. Thankfully, airport staff and police successfully caught up to Zaragosa when he drove up to Terminal B.
Mercury News reports that Zaragosa has been brought to the Santa Clara County jail where he will be charged with trespassing and possession of a stolen vehicle. With regards to the security breach San Jose Airport, investigation is still underway. Airport spokesperson, Rosemary Barnes, has spoken up regarding their security and the security breach.
"The layers of security worked," says Barnes in a report by San Francisco Chronicle. "We are all eyes and ears for maintaining security here. Our staff sprang into action right away and ensured the safety of our airport."
Even after the security breach in San Jose Airport, no flights were affected or delayed in any way. This of course is not the first time a security breach had occurred at the San Jose International Airport. Back in April, a boy from Santa Clara sneaked into the airport and climbed into the wheel well of a Hawaii-bound flight.
