Great white shark Bondi Beach video - A great white shark had been found caught in the net at a Sydney beach. The shark was already dead by the time hired contractors of the government were doing a routine check around the area. What could have led the shark to be caught in the net?
On Wednesday, visitors of Bondi Beach were given quite a scare after a huge great white shark was being pulled out from the nets by the beach. The great white shark Bondi Beach video has been making rounds on the web. According to reports by Telegraph, the shark measures 8.2 feet long and as already dead by the time it was pulled out from the net.
"The shark was found during routine inspections by specialist contractors who carry out operations as part of the New South Wales shark meshing programme," says the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries.
Reports on the great white shark Bondi Beach video claim that the shark could have been following a group of fish but had unluckily caught by the net. Based on the size of the shark, it was juvenile and not that much of a risk for swimmers around the area.
Other great white sharks frequent Bondi Beach, but do not necessarily need much of safety precautions with regards to swimmers in the area. As for the dead great white shark Bondi Beach video, officials of the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries claim it would be examined.
The great white shark in the Bondi Beach video would be examined "as part of national and international research projects." Despite the death of one shark in the Bondi Beach area, nets will still be part of the Sydney beach. Well-known beaches around New South Wales and Sydney have netted since the year 1937.
