Lamar and Khloe's divorce, not happening? Did the tables turn already? Apparently, the NBA player and the reality star's relationship is far from complicated as both parties still talk to each other but did not make a move in sorting things out for their marriage.
Now, as Khloe Kardashian's filing for divorce is about to make a year-old anniversary come December 13, many are claiming that Lamar and Khloe's divorce appears to be an impossible thing to happen.
According to RadarOnline, Kris Jenner's daughter's marriage to Odom isn't going to have its closure anytime soon since the case is technically headed for automatic dismissal.
The main reason for their divorce's dismissal is due to the fact that the proceedings have gone so long with no action from both parties whatsoever.
As per court documents retrieved by the publication, a default case review notice was submitted by Judge Scott Gordon on Oct. 9, informing Khloe that her petition for a divorce could be dismissed anytime soon because of failure to take further action.
"Khloe has been told by her attorney, Laura Wasser, that she could file a motion to have the divorce granted, even though Lamar hasn't formally responded," an insider gushed.
"Becoming legally divorced would allow Khloe to move on, while lawyers for the former couple hash out a financial settlement. However, Khloe has held off on taking that drastic step," the insider added.
While this may seem like a positive thing for Lamaer and Khloe, the insider dished that Khloe is not willing to "trust" her husband anymore.
"She can never trust Lamar again, after being cheated on so many times, but she is becoming more and more despondent about her personal life," the insider said.
The same source explained that dating on-again, off-again beau French Montana "is only a fling" for Kim Kardashian's sister. "Khloe has said she doesn't know if she will ever find true love again. It's truly sad."
"She like him, that's for sure. She thinks he's special and wildly charming but she's not convinced he's the one to begin a family with...Khloe's an outsider looking in on his fatherhood. She doesn't know the totality of the situation but thinks that French could put in more of an effort to be a hands-on dad," a source said, according to ClassicaLite.
Interestingly, Khloe may have hinted something special between her and Lamar during the latter's birthday on Nov. 7.
"Like time suspended, a wound unmended - you and I. We had no ending, no said goodbye. For all my life, I'll wonder why," Khloe posted on her Instagram page.
"[Lamar and Khloe] do talk on the phone sometimes, but there is no chance that they will ever get back together," according to the insider. "Khloe can't go back to that dark place, but just seems paralyzed with fear to move forward."
Then, in a preview for "Kourteny & Khloe Take The Hamptons," Khloe may have once again hinted her desire to get back on with Odom, noted InTouchWeekly.
In the sneak peek, Kris Jenner could be heard telling her daughter that she's moved on too fast. To which Khloe responded with, "If I had my way, I would still be married to Lamar!"
