This week, Francis is regretting his decision of granting Lord Narcisse's wishes when they start to haunt him. He then agrees to sign the edict as per the request of the Nobles. The edict will mandate that everyone in France will be swearing their allegiance to the Pope. However, his decision is against Mary's stand on this issue. Another thing that will get in the way between Mary and Francis is the dreadful secret of the latter that Lola is willing to divulge to the Queen.
