Fox Catcher Movie Talks About True Story Of Olympic Wrestlers Schultz Brothers; Film To Feature Channing Tatum And Mark Ruffalo

Fox Catcher movie is based on a true story about Olympic wrestler brothers Mark and Dave Schultz. It also delves into how the brothers met John E. du Pont.

Du Pont is a wealthy heir to the chemical company fortune that sponsored Mark, played by Channing Tatum, and later hired Dave, played by Mark Ruffalo, to form a national wrestling team. Du Pont is also believed to have been the one behind Dave's death back in 1996.

Although it may be true that the Fox Catcher movie touches up on wrestling antics and activities, it is not the only thing the flick is about. It also tackles the dark side of money, dipping into the American way of financing. It is overtly about who pays for the expensive beautiful things and what that person demands in return.

Additionally, wrestling is not the only thing in this flick that relates to this particular theme of unique luxury. The very title of the movie, "Foxcatcher," is actually in reference to the farm were du Pont and his mother, played by Vanessa Redgrave, have taken residence.

Their mansion looked so beautiful, appearing as though it was a work of art in itself. Apart from the spacious house, du Pont also grew up with the vast property, farm-raised horses, and unique hobbies, such as philately and ornithology.

Plus, one other thing that fans love about the Fox Catcher movie is its producer, Megan Ellison. Ellison represents her company, Annapurna.

Ellison is an example of today's exemplary independent producers who excel in the contemporary movie industry. She has hugely helped finance a variety of movies, all of which can be categorized under high-level art cinema.

Examples of such films would be "True Grit" of the Coen brothers, "The Master" of Paul Thomas Anderson, "Spring Breakers" of Harmony Korine, "American Hustle" of David O. Russell, and "That's What I'm Talking About" of Richard Linklater. The last one is still an upcoming film that involves baseball.
