"Dancing with the Stars" results show on Monday night reveals the remaining contestants as it nears the finale after one pair was sent home.
The competition is even getting tougher as four contestants remain to compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy in the grand finals. Before the big night, this week has again kicked off another pair. Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd along with Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas were the dancing pairs who were threatened to leave the show due to their performances, although they were not really named as the bottom two contenders.
Before the night ends, "Dancing with the Stars" result revealed that Chong and Murgatroyd were eliminated from the show. The decision of the elimination was based from the judges' scores combined with the viewer's number of votes. This week's Plugged, Unplugged challenge asked the team to perform two different dancing styles.
Although Chong and his dance pro partner were eliminated off the dance show, he proudly expressed that men like his age can still perform when they really need to and that he would miss everything about the show.
"I just showed that old stoners can perform when they need to" he said.
Earning the top spot of the week's competition were Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy with a total result points of 78 from both dance routines. Second in rank are Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson with 77 points. Despite Ribeiro'pain from his recent injury, the "Dancing with the Stars" pair was still able to make it through the night's challenge.
The four remaining dancing pairs will again face each other for next week's challenge where they will again perform two different routines. The top 3 winners of next week's result will be competing for the final round of the competition where they will fight for the "Dancing with the Stars" Mirror Ball Trophy.
