Kendall Jenner split comments have become the talk of the town after the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star recently opened up to Juju Chang of Nightline. She talked about how fame had affected her during the highly publicized separation of her parents.
"It sucked," said the 19-year-old model. "But, it's not. I try to think of it as it's not the worst thing that could have happened." It looks like Jenner has learned how to cope with the sadness and to deal with the unnecessary chatter about her family's problems.
Divorce rumors have been circulating both Bruce and Kris Jenner for the past couple of years. However, it was only until last fall that the Jenner/Kardashian matriarch decided to release an official statement to Us Weekly to confirm that she and her husband were, indeed, going to get a divorce after being married to each other for 22 years.
The good news, though, is that they have decided to stay in pretty good terms, as they need to co-parent two young girls, Kendall Jenner split and the 17-year-old Kylie Jenner. "We have children together. And we have memories and holidays and traditions," shared Jenner last month. "I don't want to give that up. I don't want him to take that away from me and I don't want to take that away from him."
Despite the split, the young Jenner girls are still close with both of their folks. "I still am so close with both my dad and my mom," Kendall Jenner split revealed. "Nothing has really changed, except for the fact that, now, my dad lives on a beach, which is awesome. That's not that bad. Everybody's happy."
Just like any normal teenage girl, Kendall admits that it was very difficult for to watch her parents separate, and even harder to accept that the spotlight was directed on the split 24/7. However, she does admit to understanding that scrutiny "comes with the territory" of fame.
Still, the newest face of Estee Lauder has stated that, if given the chance to decide, she would choose to mute the unnecessary chitchat about her parents' split. "If you just ignore it and go on and you're, like, 'I know what's real,'" Kendall Jenner split shared. "My family, my friends, they know what's real. So, what else? Why does that matter?"
