Bill Cosby's guesting in "Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday canceled amidst the issues of sexual abuse pressed against him.
According to the latest update about the comedian, his rep confirmed on Friday that he will no longer appear in his scheduled guesting in the said talk show; however, the exact reason behind the cancellation was not revealed. It is not actually the first time that Bill Cosby reportedly canceled his appearance for a TV show since he also dropped out from "The Queen Latifah Show" in October. Although the reason behind the comedian's sudden decision not to join in "Late Show with David Letterman" was not stated, many believes that it has something to do with him being accused with rape.
The allegations of rape and sexual abuse against the actor recently went viral after the stand-up comedian, Hannibal Buress, called the now 77 year-old star, a rapist. The incident which was caught on a video eventually spread all over the media, but the comedian himself tries not to answer questions about the allegations. There were rumors trying to claim that the veteran star has assaulted several women in the past decades and one of those girls he allegedly abused was Barbara Bowman who detailed her story in Washington Post.
Many are actually seemed to be convinced that Bill Cosby's canceled appointment with "Late Show with David Letterman" definitely have some connection with his public appearances after being accused with the said allegations. He recently declined to talk about his personal ongoing issue. He was not also charged with any criminal case, but it was believed that he already settled a lawsuit in 2006.
With Bill Cosby not going to make it in the "Late Show with David Letterman", it was revealed that his schedule appearance will be replaced by Regis Philbin.
