Billy Boyd The Last Goodbye: Perfect Soundtrack For ‘The Hobbit: Battle Of Five Armies’? [MUSIC]

Billy Boyd The Last Goodbye has gone viral as soon as it was released to the public. It would appear that the same actor who plays the role of Pippin has a fantastic voice.

Boyd was recorded sings a tune for "The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies," which is Peter Jackson's latest big screen trilogy. The trilogy is based on the middle world novels of JRR Tolkien. The blockbuster will be premiering in cinemas worldwide in a month's time, and Boyd's new song, "The Last Goodbye," sounds to be the perfect way to end the franchise.

Billy Boyd The Last Goodbye will be playing when the upcoming blockbuster's end credits are rolling. It recently premiered on Billboard and fans of the book-to-movie adaptation, of Boyd, and of good music, have gotten their eyes on the track since.

It was previously discussed that Boyd come up with a new song for the flick. He flew all the way to New Zealand just this past September so he could watch an early cut of the film. He then realized that he wanted to put a stronger exclamation point on Howard Shore's score, encapsulating the entirety of Jackson's six-part middle world journey.

"We focused on not just the final installment, but more so on this 10-year epic adventure," the Scottish actor/musician said. "A song to sum up the six movies. We recorded in Wellington, New Zealand, at one point traveling to Auckland to Neil Finn's studio where we recorded some of the guitar."

Boyd then added, "It was surreal to be in his studio as he did the song for 2012's 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.'"

The official soundtrack to the upcoming "The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies" will be out for grabs on December 9th while the blockbuster will be shown on the big screen by December 17th.
