Honey Boo Boo's mother has addressed the major health scare in her life right now in an exclusive interview with ET.
June "Mama June" Shannon continues to face some major problems in her life right now, with the latest one primarily involving her health, according to ET Online.
"A lot of fans have asked [me], 'Do you have cancer?' I don't know," Honey Boo Boo's mother told Brooke Anderson on Friday. "I maybe do. I don't know. We're going to run tests."
In the "Honey Boo Boo" star's attempt to address the cancer issue, she revealed that she was pretty alarmed when possible cancer symptoms started to manifest in her body i.e. "[she] pretty much sleeps all the time" and that "every bone in [her] body hurts."
In the same interview, Mama June gushed that though she may need to get checked very soon, she is pretty hesitant since she wants to prioritize the needs of her four kids first.
Shannon's statements came amid the Department of Children and Family Services' investigation on her family, to ensure that all three youngest girls are safe since the release of their mother's ex, Mark McDaniel, who is a convicted child molester.
It can be noted that TLC canceled her reality series "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" after photos of her and the sex offender's reunion surfaced online.
The cancellation of the show was also driven by the fact that June's eldest daughter, 20-year-old Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, filed charges against McDaniel, claiming that he sexually assaulted her at the young age of 8.
Meanwhile, apart from addressing the cancer issue, the "Honey Boo Boo" matriarch also broke the news that she is appearing as a cameo in "Dumb and Dumber To," reports Daily Mail.
Interestingly, Mama June's guest appearance in the comedy film was kept a secret until it hit theaters nationwide.
Though the sequel film received a lot of bad reviews, it is still expected to conquer the box office by earning $36 million on its opening day and $40 over the weekend.
