Pizza Underground, Macaulay Culkin's band, is an American band that purely focuses on comedic songs. The band is based in New York City and have been creating parody songs of The Velvet Underground. Culkin is the lead singer of the band and is joined by Matt Colbourn on guitars, Phoebe Kreutz on glockenspiel, Austin Kilham on tambourine and Deenah Vollmer on pizza box.

For those who attend live concerts of Macaulay Culkin's band, boxed pizzas are given out. Yet, where exactly did the idea for Pizza Underground even begin. According to Vollmer, Macaulay Culkin's band started out as a joke in the year 2012.

While it may have started out as a joke, Macaulay Culkin's band plays in a number of cities across the Big Apple. The group has over 16 thousand likes and counting on their official Facebook page. The band also has quite the number of followers on Twitter reaching up to almost 12 thousand.

Following the death hoax reports involving their lead singer, Macaulay Culkin's band was quick to slam the reports on Twitter and Instagram. The group had posted a photo of Culkin holding up a drink with the caption: "We're on tour you silly people / @anchovywarhol's."

As for Culkin, the "Home Alone" star reacted to the death hoax with a funny post of his own. Macaulay Culkin's band members joined in on the fun by acting alongside Culkin in the photo posted on Instagram. Check out the said photo here. The band is currently on tour in Austin, Texas.
