Plane Crash in Bahamas: Dr. Myles Munroe Killed in Yesterday’s Crash

Plane crash in the Bahamas yesterday kills all nine passengers including a well-known Christian minister.

According to a recent report, a tragic plane accident happened when a small Lear 36 Executive Jet crashed while attempting to land at the Grand Bahama International Airport at around 5 P.M. Although the reason behind the tragic crash is not yet known, an article from USA Today says that the aircraft struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, causing it to explode and eventually crash neasr a junkyard location.

A statement from the Ministry of Transport and Aviation reportedly tells that the plane that crashed in the Bahamas yesterday was totally destroyed while no survivors have been noted.

"The Department of Civil Aviation has been advised unofficially that the aircraft was destroyed and that there were no survivors," the statement says.

The group of passengers consist of nine people reportedly includes one of the most prominent people in the aspect of religious activities. Dr. Myles Munroe along with his wife, Ruth Ann Munroe also died in the said accident. According to related news, the group was traveling to the Global Leadership Forum, an event which was also organized by Munroe and is scheduled to take place this week.

With Munroe's passing in yesterday's plane crash, Prime Minister Perry Christie said that his loss has made a great impact to The Bahamas and also to the world. On the other hand, former mayor of Atlanta and former UN US Ambassador Andrew Young, a speaker for the said upcoming event also expressed his sympathy to the Munroe family and also to the other victims who are members of the minister's entourage.

Before Dr. Munroe was killed in the plane crash yesterday, he is also known as the president and founder of Bahamas Faith Ministries International. He is also known for his books as well as a pastor and administrator.
