Corpse In Foreclosed Home Is The Disturbing Find In Tax Deed Auction-Bought Property; New Owner Contemplates On Next Move (+ VIDEO)

Corpse Foreclosed Home - Purchasing a new home is definitely the best step in starting anew, but for William Wilson, his new bought property gave him so much more than just a living space - the corpse of the previous owner of the foreclosed home, People reported.

A three-bedroom house in Cape Coral, Florida seems to be a pretty good deal for $95,300, or so new owner William Wilson thought when he made the bargain at a tax deed auction.

Apparently, it seems that there is one gruesome secret the sellers forgot to tell Wilson and that's no other than a corpse in the foreclosed home.

According to Wilson's narration to the authorities, during his first visit at the house, he was shocked when he found a mummified body on the floor of the property's master bedroom.

"I bought a house at a tax deed auction," Wilson said in his conversation with a 911 dispatcher the moment he saw the corpse in the foreclosed home.

"Apparently, the reason was it was full of unpaid taxes; the owner died and she couldn't pay her taxes. Nobody ever came and got her, so she's still in the house," he continued to explain.

When the dispatcher asked, "And you said it appears to have been quite some time?" Wilson responded with: "It's been at least three or four years."

Upon investigation, it was found out that the corpse in the foreclosed home was no other than the former house owner named Carmen Garcia-Viso.

Garcia-Viso reportedly transferred from Miami to Cape Coral after purchasing the three-bedroom house back in 2002.

As per the recounts of her neighbors, Garcia-Viso hardly spoke to anyone in the neighborhood. In fact, nobody knew that she was already dead since no one had seen or heard from her in four years, The Week has learned.

"Even when she lived there, we didn't know her," neighbor Javier Herrera said. "She kept to herself. We figured she had died, but no one in the neighborhood knew her well enough to make sure she wasn't still in the house. I feel really bad about that."

"It's very strange, all those bars on the house. I never smelled anything ... that's just freaky. I'm freaked out," another neighbor, who refused to be named, commented.

Interestingly, though the police had paid a visit to the property twice in 2013, they never spotted the gruesome find in the master bedroom since no one really took the time to check what's inside.

Now, since the taxes hadn't been paid for nearly three tears, the property was treated like any other vacant house. Hence, it was later on put at the auction.

Wilson, who had revealed that when he found the corpse in the foreclosed home it was already partially eaten by animals, is now contemplating on the best thing to do with the house.

This is not the first time a corpse has been discovered in a foreclosed home. Just this March, a contractor made a shocking discovery of finding a dead body of a woman inside the garage of a foreclosed home in Michigan.

Also, way back in 2012, several workers discovered a corpse in a Milwaukee County home, according to Washington Post.
