Michael Clarke Duncan Fiancé Opens Up About Death Of Husband-To-Be; Omarosa Manigault Shares That ‘Working With Children’ Helped Her Recover

Michael Clarke Duncan's fiancé has just opened up about the actor's death. She has just found the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with, only to lose him.

Omarosa Manigault was a former contestant on "Apprentice" and she was right in the middle of planning her dream wedding with Michael Clarke Duncan in 2012. Sadly, however, instead of being preoccupied with churches, gowns, and other wedding preparations, Manigault found herself sitting next to her fiancé's hospital bed.

At the time, she was praying that he would survive the predicament and survive a heart attack, when it does happen. Unfortunately, two months later, on July 13th of 2012, Michael Clarke Duncan passed away.

Manigault opened up to Nancy Redd of Huffpost Live about the extremely painful ordeal that she had to go through while grieving the death of her husband-to-be. Despite of the death being two years ago, it was only quite recently that she was able to bring herself to move out of her home with the late actor.

"Being surrounded by all those things kind of gave me comfort," Michael Clarke Duncan shared. "But, at some point, for moving forward, my therapist said, 'You know, you are going to have to figure out what you're going to do with his things, and you can't keep them around forever.'"

Eventually, she was able to find stable way to full recovery from her grieving process, which included her faith and taking on substitute teaching in the special education department.

"It really helped me with my healing," Michael Clarke Duncan fiancé revealed. "Working with children, being a part of that, systems that're helping them grow and learn. But also, my teaching and preaching has been essential and my faith has been what gets me through every single day."
