Kacey Musgraves Goes Commando Onstage At The 2014 CMAs [PHOTO]; Country Singer Reveals She Had To ‘Throw Them Somewhere’

Kacey Musgraves is now considered as country music's controversial poster girl. She never fails to make sure that she gives the press something to talk about.

The 26-year-old amazingly beautiful singer ended up attending the 2014 Country Music Awards on Wednesday on full commando mode. She won Song of the Year for that night, but what concerned her most was her wardrobe malfunction. It was relatively embarrassing as it was, but it could have been a lot worse a few minutes later.

Musgraves explained to the press after getting her award that she was actually about to walk out on the stage, in front of all those people, to perform a surprise duet with the amazing Loretta Lynn when she got a surprise of her own.

"And just so y'all know, right before I sang, my panties came off," revealed Kacey Musgraves.

She wore a highly impressive dress that night, especially with its sheer side panels. Although the sequined portion of the gown as eye-catching, for sure, what caught most eyes was the fact that she had to wear very discreet undergarments.

"They were the stick-on kind. I mean, just look at this dress," Kacey Musgraves explained. "They were stuck on and they weren't stuck on. So, I literally had to rip them off and throw them somewhere."

Being the true professional that she is, she did not let this wardrobe malfunction set her back. She still rushed out to the audience and wowed them with "You're Looking Country" with veteran country singer Lynn.

Disregarding the underwear mishap, her performance was still a head turner. It was extremely short and had long sleeves. It had silver sequins arrange dramatically at the front, back, and forearms area, but the rest was obviously sheer nude mesh.

Kacey Musgraves actually arrived at the event with a different ensemble, and presumable better underwear. Perhaps she wishes that she stayed in that full length sequined number.
