Miley Cyrus found dead has been circulating over social media sites 48 minutes after the report was originally posted on Facebook. The "Bangerz" singer has allegedly died of a drug overdose with the accompanying video having been uploaded on the social networking site. This is the second death hoax involving Cyrus, but could this be the real deal or just another celebrity death hoax?
On July 20, 2014, Miley Cyrus found dead was the headline of a death report that had shocked Cyrus' dedicated fans, the "Smilers." The alleged report claims that the songstress had died of an overdose and that her lifeless body was found in her Los Angeles home.
Following the reports of Miley Cyrus found dead, the songstress took to Twitter to slam the reports. In fact, the 21-year old singer found the death hoax "pretty funny."
"Miley is just laying low and hanging out with her new dog and just relaxing," says a source close to the singer in an exclusive report by Hollywood Life, adding, "She is aware of the death hoax and thought it was actually pretty funny. By not responding, she thinks it is that much more of a joke because people are continuing to believe it."
Apparently, the death hoax did not stop in July as Cyrus has fallen victim to another death hoax this month. A video on Facebook entitled "Miley Cyrus found dead" has been trending for the past hour. The said video was posted on the page titled "RIP Miley Cyrus." Ironically, the same page was dedicated to country crooner, Taylor Swift a few days past.
"At about 11 a.m. ET on Thursday (November 06, 2014), our beloved actress Miley Cyrus passed away. Miley Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992 in Nashville. She will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page," reads the "About" section of the Facebook page.
So are the report on Miley Cyrus found dead real or just another hoax? According to Softpedia, the reports are just another hoax that leads people to a scam. "Smilers" are warned not to click on the video or visit the said Facebook page.
