Savannah Guthrie makes confession about her previous Botox injection days after her comeback in Today show.
Thursday's episode of NBCs Today show was definitely a surprise especially when the 42 year-old host revealed one of her secrets to the public. The journalist who recently welcomed her baby daughter in August with husband Mike Feldman, admits that she also underwent a certain cosmetic procedure in order to make her face look young. It is believed that she probably opted for the procedure since she's working daily in front of the camera and is exposed to many viewers who could possibly criticize the way she looks.
According to the recent episode, the hosts of the said show were discussing about the increasing number of men who prefers to undergo in some cosmetic procedure such as having Botox. Savannah Guthrie's confession during the show's Trending segment has actually left her co-hosts in shock. Her four male co-workers reportedly expressed their refusal to undergo such procedure while saying that it is something that they would not consider.
'No.. I feel like we've earned [our wrinkles],' Josh said about the cosmetic procedure.
In her confession, the female journalist revealed that she actually opted for the said cosmetic procedure to erase her wrinkles way back in 2009.
"[I got Botox] in my forehead, that's where everyone did it," she revealed.
The NBC journalist was also asked regarding how she feels after having the wrinkle-erasing process and if she's actually considering to have the procedure for the second time.
"I have never done it again. I'm not saying I wouldn't though. I would. And I mean, I'm definitely a candidate for Botox. Because of wrinkles on your forehead, they're supposed to smooth them out," she admitted.
While Savannah Guthrie's confession shocked her male co-hosts, the said cosmetic transformation process has been actually criticized by several celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, who questions why women feels pressured in appearing ageless.
