Peter Steer Carjacked At Gun Point: 7News Cameraman Survives Life-Threatening Ordeal [SHOCKING VIDEO & REPORT]

Peter Steer carjacked - A cameraman for 7News named Peter Steer had survived a life-threating ordeal at Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. While reporting on location, Steer had been threatened at gunpoint by a man on a motorcycle. Luckily, Steer survived the terrifying ordeal. As for the man who threatened Steer, what had happened to him?

Steer was on the way to a property where an assault had taken place. However, he was flagged down by a burly man on a motorcycle. Thinking something was wrong with his car, Steer slowed down the car and rolled down his windows. This was when Peter Steer carjacking occurred.

"A chap on a Harley sort of pulled me over, I thought there might have been something wrong with my car. He got off his bike and approached me and said 'I've got a story for you'," shares Steer of the incident. "I said 'Well mate, you better hurry because I'm going to a shooting', and he said 'Mate, I'm the shooter'."

The man, who was responsible for Peter Steer carjacking incident, has been identified as Jule Brook. Brook was the shooter responsible for the assault at a property Steer was originally headed to. Despite Steer's' attempts to calm down Brook while waiting for the cops, Brook had carjacked Steer and threatened him at gunpoint.

The cops arrived just in time after Peter Steer carjacked but Brooks managed to slip away. Yet, luck wasn't on Brooks' side as he crashed the carjacked 7News car into an LPG tank at a petrol station.

"A big crunch, gas everywhere - I just turned and bolted basically because I thought - I was in two minds - I thought someone's in there and another - I've got to get out of here," says an eyewitness at the petrol station named Joe to Yahoo News.

Brooks has been arrested and is set for a hearing at the Maroochydore Magistrates Court, Friday. The man responsible for Peter Steer carjacked incident is set to be charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm, two counts of wilful damage, armed robbery and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
