In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, the brunette singer did not just take her time sharing about her latest emotional song, but she also hints about her current relationship status with her on and off boyfriend for years. The young couple had been the center of controversy in Hollywood for their highly-publicized romance as well as breakups. The music video of the American singer-actress' latest song is also believed to have something to do with her estranged boyfriend.
"The Heart Wants What it Wants" lyrics have been strongly associated with the kind of relationship that Selena Gomez has with Justin Bieber. Although the name of the Canadian singer was never mentioned in the video, it is believed that it is definitely related to the young couple's controversial love.
"I know his heart, and I know what he wouldn't do to hurt me, but I didn't realize feeling so confident, feeling so great about myself and then it just be completely shattered by one thing - by something so stupid," the "Spring breakers" actress said in an audio clip of her music video.
During the interview with Seacrest, the 22 year-old award-winning singer was asked if how the things are currently going with Justin Bieber. Although Selena Gomez did not directly state the real score between her and her alleged ex-boyfriend, she revealed that she will always be there to support him.
"I support him. I think I always will. I'm upset when he's upset, I'm happy when he's happy. I don't want anything bad ever happen to him. It hurts me. That's all," she confesses.
Selena Gomez also revealed that Justin Bieber already saw the video and thought that it was beautiful. She even joked saying that he was actually jealous about the man in "The Heart Wants What it Wants" music video.
