Anna Faris and Chris Pratt reportedly got married because they both had food poisoning. They decided to tie the knot while they were on vacation in Bali five years ago.
The "Scary Movie" actress confessed that their marriage was actually a spontaneous decision after they noticed an advertisement on a room service menu.
"I didn't even plan my wedding," Faris shared. "We were in Bali suffering from food poisoning - the really tough kind, you know, sharing the toilet."
She then added, "I was looking for chicken broth on the room service menu and saw the hotel also did weddings. While still feverish, Chris said, 'Let's do it.' So, the staff found us some traditional Balinese clothes and a local priest."
"We had no idea what was going on, but we came back married," the 37-year-old actress shared about the Anna Faris and Chris Pratt wedding.
Although the "Mom" star's wedding was a result of her innate spontaneity, she actually hates being surprised. She revealed to Stylist magazine, "I would ban surprise parties if I was queen. One of the things about being in comedy is that it's made me a happier person and not so easily offended."
The wife of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star admitted, "I do love to have a good time and I am up for an adventure, but I am kind of controlling. So, no surprise parties please."
Additionally, Chris Pratt is also very confident that he and his beautiful wife were "meant to be" together. "We're both from the Pacific Northwest in Washington State. I grew up 20 minutes from her. I played football on her high school field."
Pratt then shared some details about the Anna Faris and Chris Pratt relationship. He said, "There are many, many similarities to our lives. It's one of those things that make you realize things are meant to be and they're working out the way they're supposed to."
