Daniel Radcliffe movies - The latest film starring the former "Harry Potter" star that is certainly one to watch is "Horns." The film based on Joe Hills' novel, Stephen King's son, stars the one and only Daniel Radcliffe where he sets out to find the killer of his girlfriend - with a pair of horns on his head for an added effect.
Looks like the supernatural genre is sticking out for Daniel Radcliffe movies. After starring as the Boy Who Lived in J.K. Rowling's beloved wizardly genre, Radcliffe has taken on a few supernatural films from "Woman in Black" to the latest "Horns."
In "Horns," Radcliffe plays the part of Ig Perrish who is suspected of having brutally murdered his girlfriend. Now, he's on the quest to search for the real killer with the help of a pair of horns sprouting from his forehead. While this out of many Daniel Radcliffe movies obviously takes on a more mature role, Radcliffe says he definitely enjoyed it.
"It's fun to play a character that's so extreme. He does awful things to people in a way that I have never been asked to do before in a movie," shared Radcliffe, adding, "In a way, I really enjoyed that."
The reviews for "Horns" and Radcliffe's performance have been nothing short of spectacular. Daniel Radcliffe's movie "Horns" along with "Nightcrawler" had led the pack of Freaky Friday films all for Halloween.
"[It's] devilish fun to see The Boy Who Lived cut loose as a demon. Yet it can be jarring to hear Radcliffe - in a careful American accent no less - spewing out a litany of f-bombs. Still, he's a good fit for a reluctant demon, his puppy dog eyes flashing from pained to wrathful. And it seems years of practice in the fantasy realm are a help in committing to this unconventional revenge drama," reviews Kristy Puchko of Cinema Blend.
Aside from "Horns," other Daniel Radcliffe movies worth watching is his romantic comedy, "What If" and "Kill Your Darlings."
