Miley Cyrus Twitter star apparently made it rain at the amfAR Gala on Wednesday. The "Wrecking Ball" singer said, "I'm a little drunk," after she bid $300,000 on a Ryan McGinley photograph of a naked woman.
Afterwards, the internationally famous pop star then decided to donate $200,000 to AIDS research at the star-studded gala in Los Angeles. She then added, "That's why I'm a half-million deep," referring to the paper that she dropped during the event.
Now that she got the attention of everyone in the room, she decided to get serious.
"If I'm going to have a voice, I would like to start an open dialogue about prevention and awareness and how people in the world have been affected by HIV and AIDS," Miley Cyrus Twitter star said. "I could break down people's walls that have been built up around sexuality."
It has never been a secret that the young musician has always been comfortable with her own sexuality. Anyone who has watched the latest music awards nights and Cyrus's most recent music videos can vouch that she has made it a point to express it publicly in every moment possible.
Miley Cyrus Twitter star said, "I'm obviously not too embarrassed to talk about these things, especially with young people."
Moreover, the star left very little to the imagination with the outfit that she chose to wear for the night. She wore a highly elegant black Tom Ford dress that had a sheer top and crisscrossed straps with sequins on them. The bondage vibe of her ensemble looked like it was taken straight out of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The designer of the dress that Miley Cyrus Twitter star wore was also honored at the event because of her philanthropic work with amfAR. The event, in turn, was hosted by Gwyneth Paltrow.
