John Carter Cash Stripping Arrest? Johnny Cash's Son Detained For Drunkenly Stripping Naked In Canadian Airport Terminal

John Carter Cash had a stripping arrest this Tuesday when he was reportedly detained by authorities for stripping naked in public, Hollywood Life has learned.

It appears that Johnny Cash's son, John Carter Cash, had a stripping arrest at a Canadian airport when he drunkenly removed his clothing at the terminal while waiting for his flight.

According to several witnesses the 44-year-old singer-songwriter and only son of Johnny Cash and June Carter was arrested when he stripped naked in public, causing a huge commotion among waiting passengers.

Initial reports state that police responded to a man at Deer Lake Airport at 2:10 p.m. after he was seen taking his clothes off in the terminal.

Later on he was identified as John Carter Cash and he was said to be on his way home to Tennessee from a hunting trip in Newfoundland, Canada.

Onlookers said that apparently the security already managed to convince John to put his clothes back on by the time the authorities arrived at the airport. Around the same time, police found out that he was quite drunk.

John Carter Cash was then taken into police custody until he was sober. This made him miss his flight to Tennessee.

A few hours after John Carter Cash's stripping arrest, he was released by the police since he was cooperative, had no prior record and no formal charges were pressed against him, reports Toronto Sun.

While no harm has been done, several media outlets claim that John's drunk arrest could be a case of history repeating itself. For one thing, his father - the late legendary musician Johnny Cash - also struggled with alcohol addiction when he was still alive.

As per archived reports, the country singer was in and out of rehab throughout his career, with his last rehab stint dated in 1992 at a center in Loma Linda, California. Just a couple of months later, his son was also enrolled at the facility for the same treatment.

Johnny Cash passed away in 2003, just four months after his wife June died. They were married in 1965, according to Daily Mail.
