While planning a vacation, people normally have to pick and choose their priorities for what they want: beach or mountains, relaxing or adventurous, city or nature. For a person who has difficulty making these kinds of decisions, Argentina literally has it all.
A hypothetical trip to Argentina would begin in the capital of the country, Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is often referred to as the Paris of South America because of the culture, city life, beauty, and endless list of things to do. There is sightseeing, shopping, all sorts of cuisine, and gorgeous beaches to relax on during the day. Then afterwards, the nightlife and ballroom dancing will captivate the night, especially since the tango was born in Buenos Aires.
After soaking in the Argentinean culture in Buenos Aires, the next part of the trip will take place only a short distance away in one of the seven wonders of the world: Iguazu Falls. This part of the trip will include seeing the amazing views of the waterfalls, and also visiting some of the best spas in Argentina.
Next up on the trip are the famous Patagonia glaciers at the Glaciers National Park in the Santa Cruz Province. Here there is hiking and mountain climbing the magnificent mountains in the northern section of the park. Then witnessing the largest ice cap outside of Antarctica and Greenland in the southern region of the park.
The trip will end in Latin America's largest wine producing city: Mendoza. Other than drinking delicious wine, Mendoza is also in close proximity to the largest mountain in the Americas, Aconcagua, which is perfect for hiking and outdoor activities.
These are not the only things to see in Argentina, but they are the main attractions that would make for a wonderful, all-encompassing trip!
