Lupita Nyong'O Lancôme - The Oscar award winning actress was recently chosen to be the ambassadress of Lancôme. Lupita Nyong'O of course is not the first celebrity to be chosen for the brand. Other ambassadress include Julia Roberts and a few faces of the Lancôme campaign include Lily Collins and Emma Watson.
Early in September, Lupita Nyong'O Lancôme representation was announced. The 31-year old was chosen to be the ambassador of the brand thanks to her confidence and natural beauty. Lancôme had nothing but great things to say about their latest choice to represent the brand.
"Her instinctive and sophisticated talent and one of a kind beauty, both delicate and strength-exuding, has taken the world by storm," stated Lancôme.
Aside from Lupita Nyong'O Lancôme, other well-known celebrities who have been named ambassadress of the brand include Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet and Daria Werbowy. A number of young stars have also represented the brand namely Lily Collins of "The Mortal Instruments" and Emma Watson of "Harry Potter."
"I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history and that I have always loved," stated Lupita Nyong'O of Lancôme, adding, "I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself."
Before Lupita Nyong'O Lancôme representation, the 31-year old first shot to stardom for her role in "12 Years a Slave." The actress won her first Oscar award thanks to the film. Since then, the success and fame had followed suit.
As for Lupita Nyong'O Lancôme, the General Manager of the French brand, Françoise Lehmann also had wonderful things to say about their choice.
"Both talented and committed, true to her African beauty, and showing a great curiosity and open-mindedness in her career choices, Lupita is by essence the Lancôme woman," stated Lehmann on Lupita Nyong'O Lancôme.
