San Clemente shooting - A man and woman have been found dead at a San Clemente boutique. According to eye witness reports, shots were heard inside the boutique after a fight ensued between the man and woman. Investigations are still under way with the case being identified as a murder-suicide.
Officers were sent to a San Clemente boutique after reports of shots fired were called in. The San Clemente shooting involved two people, a man and woman. Eye witness, Brittney Hopper, claimed to have heard a number of shots fired inside the Bliss Boutique located at Avenida Del Mar.
The San Clemente shooting occurred at around 2 pm. Captain Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority was a the scene where the two victims were pronounced dead. Orange County Sheriff Department Lt. Jeff Hallock claims no one else is in custody and no other possible suspects have been identified.
Investigations continue regarding the two victims of the San Clemente shooting. The man and woman have yet to be identified along with their relationship to one another. However, another eye witness identified as Jeff Chambers claimed the victims were husband and wife and are currently involved in a messy divorce.
"The girl who was working at Bliss came running out and yelled that there were six shots fired," stated Chambers, adding, "Her boss was grabbed and taken in the back room by her husband, and they were in an ugly divorce...I walked in to see if my wife and daughter were inside and they were not. It was very quiet."
The San Clemente shooting involving the man and woman could possibly be a case of murder-suicide. Closures at Ola Vista and Avenida Del Mar have been carried out by authorities after the San Clemente shooting.
Regarding the death of the woman working at Bliss Boutique, the establishment is yet to release a statement about the San Clemente shooting.
