Kate Middleton diet isn't as complicated as tabloids claim it to be. In fact, the founder of the diet, Pierre Dukan, states it's easy to incorporate into ones' daily life. Whereas the Duchess of Cambridge is concerned, Pierre Dukan claims Kate Middleton's diet took it a bit too far.
The Dukan diet is a protein-heavy diet plan that doesn't need the dedication of having to head out to the gym. This is all the reason why it's Kate Middleton's diet and for those who want the same perks of the Dukan diet there are four phases to follow. Basically the four phases of the Dukan diet are as follows: attack - limiting food groups to protein, cruise - adding vegetables to the diet, consolation - adding two servings of carbohydrates and permanent stabilization - eating a variety of healthy food.
As for Pierre Dukan, the founder of the Dukan diet, he claims the Duchess might have gone a bit too far with her diet.
"I think she lost too much. At the beginning she had good cheeks. Now, she has no cheeks," stated Dukan in a report by the NY Daily News.
While Kate Middleton's diet might have gone too far, Dukan claims it is still safe for her to continue the diet even if she's pregnant with another possible heir to the throne.
"My diet is efficient. Nobody says it's not one of the best for efficiency. It's very quick, which encourages people, and it's simple," added Dukan.
Another dietician however claims that Kate Middleton's diet isn't all too healthy. Alissa Rumsey of New York city states the Dukan diet isn't nourishing for a pregnant woman like the Duchess.
"Anything that cuts out food groups automatically raises alarm bells for me. You're missing out on a whole variety of nutrients," stated Rumsey.
For the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton's diet continues to follow the four phases of Pierre Dukan's diet plan.
