Pennsylvania man hunt of Eric Frein has dragged on to its' second month. Frein is wanted for the murder of a state trooper, Cpl. Bryon Dickson, last Sept. 12. Named as "extremely dangerous" by Pennsylvania authorities, Frein has already been added to FBI's most wanted fugitives.
Following the Pennsylvania man hunt, schools in the state had been closed down after Frein had been spotted by a woman a few feet away from Pocono Mountain School.
"He had actually turned towards me and that's where you could tell the mud on his face, you could tell the height he was based on the truck he was standing next to. You could clearly tell it was a gun, a rifle with a scope attached to it. It looked as though he was looking for something or looking which way to go," stated the eyewitness in a report by ABC, Sunday.
Earlier in the Pennsylvania man hunt, a number of schools had already been closed down. With Eric Frein on the loose, is it still safe for children to head out to school? Wendy Frable, the district spokeswoman of Pennsylvania, had spoken up about the safety of the school children in the midst of the Pennsylvania man hunt.
"We would not bring the students in if we did not have reassurance from police they felt the campus was safe," stated Frable in a report by the Guardian.
The Pennsylvania man hunt for Eric Frein continues. This has been the second sighting recorded on Frein according to reports by the Associated Press. Frein has allegedly been living in the woods of Pennsylvania with authorities already having found a number of his belongings which include ammunition, two pipe bombs, a discarded rifle, clothes, food and a journal containing "cold-blooded and absolutely chilling" details of the shooting.
