Trump Taj Mahal closing - Donald Trump wants nothing to do with the Trump Taj Mahal and he even wants his name taken off the Las Vegas casino. In addition to the name removal, the Las Vegas casino is close to bankruptcy. Will the Trump Taj Mahal closing down mark the end of the Trump Entertainment Records?
Not all has bode well with the Trump Taj Mahal this year and the Las Vegas casino is at the brink of closing down. Trump Taj Mahal closing down is scheduled for Nov.
"Mr. Trump brilliantly left Atlantic City more than seven years ago and has not been back. Mr. Trump has absolutely nothing to do with Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc.," stated Michael Cohen, a lawyer for Ivanka and Donald Trump in a report by the Inquisitr.
Regarding the Trump Taj Mahal closing, Donald Trump claimed it was Trump Entertainment Records fault for having led to the bankruptcy now involving the Las Vegas casino.
"I think everyone knows that I'm gone. Atlantic City was a place that I really loved; you know, I did it for a long time in Atlantic City. But a lot of people say when I left, that's when it went bad. And in one way, I'm honored by that statement, but in another way, I feel badly about Atlantic City," stated Trump.
Despite filing for bankruptcy last Sept., Trump Entertainment Records still wants to retain the name Trump in the Las Vegas casino. The Trump Taj Mahal closing won't likely to happen anytime soon according to reports by WFMZ.
As for Donald Trump's daughter, Trump Taj Mahal closing would certainly inhibit damages to the Trump brand.
"The company has been in default of the standards for both the Plaza and at the Taj as well. They had a similar benchmark, and they did not live up to the standards we agreed to. Both the standards were not met," stated Donald Trump's daughter with regards to Trump Taj Mahal closing.
