Last week on Castle, we saw a somehow comedic episode titled "Clear & Present Danger" where Castle jumpstarted to overacting imagination and theories after seeing a surveillance video that shows the door opening and closing by itself. The episode took an even more interesting turn when Beckett was strangled by the invisible man. At first, Castle thought that his girlfriend was just pretending to get strangled, but when he realizes it's the real deal he helped her fight it. Nevertheless, they were compelled to lie to Capt. Gates about the incident. They later discovered that an invisibility cloak was responsible for the appearance (or the lack thereof) of the suspect. In tonight's show, Castle and Beckett will be working on a case when an ice cream vendor gets fatally shot. With the lack of evidence, the twosome will struggle to solve the crime. Fortunately, they will manage to discover that someone was present at the time of that incident. However, the witness is only a second-grader. The official synopsis of Castle season 7 episode 4 reads: "When an ice cream vender is shot, evidence leads Beckett and Castle to believe that an unknown second-grader may have vital information about the case.
