The report said, "At about 11 a.m. ET on Sunday (October 19, 2014), our beloved actress, Betty White, passed away. Betty White was born on January 17, 1922 in Oak Park. She will be missed, but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page."
Hundreds of Betty White's fans immediately started to give their condolences on the page, expressing their sincere heartfelt sadness about the amazingly talented 92-year-old actress and producer dying. Also, Twitter became frenzied with the Betty White found dead hoax.
Still, some were immediately skeptical about the death reports. Many pointed out that White's death was not reported in any major American network, further disproving the stories that Betty White found dead.
