With roughly two weeks to go before the start of the 2014-15 NBA season, trade rumors are expected to heat up in the coming days. From Chase Budinger being potential trade bait for the Minnesota Timberwolves to Dion Waiters' end of days with the Cleveland Cavaliers, we've got a handful of those in today's NBA rumor central.

Waiters' shot-happy attitude is enough to alarm the coaching staff, even Cavs head coach David Blatt, who believed something is very wrong when a fourth option on the offensive end had the most shot attempts on a star-studded team like the Cavs.
"I don't think he should lead the team in shots," Blatt said of Waiters' 68 field goal attempts this preseason in a recent interview via Ohio.com. "On the other hand, I don't really care. I just want to take good shots and make them. But we'll look at it. It's something we really should look at and we will."
With Waiters eager to take that big step, the Cavs might have no choice but to trade Waiters to a team that need his scoring prowess most. On the other hand, the Cavs could also benefit from any potential deal for Waiters because it can give them the leverage to trade for a shotblocker or another defensive oriented wingman, the two areas the championship-starved team currently lacks of.
Chase Budinger on Trading Block: Yahoo Sports NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly shopping veteran small forward Chase Budinger on the trading front.
The Timberwolves are looking to cut some guaranteed contract on their roster and solve a log-jam at the small forward position. Budinger is viewed as the odd-man out in a roster mostly consists of youngsters. The Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, and Detroit Pistons are considered as front-runners for the shooter but Sean Deveney of Sporting News believed the Portland Trail Blazers could be a darkhorse with Thomas Robinson possibly a trade chip for the emerging West powerhouse.
