Lakers Rumors: Jeremy Lin’s West All-Star Jersey Available on EBay

Ebay is known for putting sports-related stuffs on the market, whether it's a rare MLB baseball card or the only remaining gallon of Michael Jordan barbecue sauce intended for the 1992 McDonald sandwich. Well, how about an All-Star jersey of a player who hasn't made it yet in the midseason classic?

As crazy as it may sound but Jeremy Lin's Western Conference All-Star jerseys are currently up for grabs on eBay! Lin, who is now balling for the Los Angeles Lakers, has several versions of his no.7 All-Star jerseys on the world's largest online market, some of which is as cheap as $9.99.

Speaking of All-Star jersey, the 26-year old Lin has been hundred thousand votes short of actually wearing those goodies in the past two seasons. In fact, Lin was a close third behind point guard Chris Paul and Stephen Curry for a spot in the Western Conference All-Star backcourt.

This coming season, Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders predicted the Lakers could field two starters in the All-Star Game in New York, with Kobe Bryant securing the shooting guard spot and Lin getting the point guard position all because of a combined support from hardcore purple-and-gold fans and his massive followers abroad.

"However, even with so many talented point guards and shooting guards in the conference, don't be surprised if Jeremy Lin ends up being a starter for the West All-Star team come February," Kennedy stated in his article.

"Before you do a spit take and call me crazy, hear me out. With the combined support of Los Angeles Lakers fans and international followers, Lin will certainly be in the mix for an All-Star nod."

Production-wise, Lin has the opportunity to pad up his stats this season, especially if he continues to get more minutes from Lakers head coach Byron Scott, either as a point guard or a shooting guard.

With Steve Nash struggling to stay healthy, Lin will have all the chances in the world to showcase his true skills under the bright lights of Los Angeles. The more time he plays, the better the stats he will put up every single night.

Will he make it in All-Star game this season? It will be hard given the abundance of talent in the Western Conference backcourt, but it's not impossible, all thanks to Lin's charisma and his perfect situation with the Lakers.
