Foo Fighters' new album, "Sonic Highways" is certainly something to look forward to. The eight album is set for release on Nov. 10 with a documentary on "Sonic Highways" set to air on Oct. 26. What else should fans expect from the Foo Fighters' new album?
After hitting up "The Late Show With David Letterman" for almost a week, the band is now focused on their documentary "Sonic Highways." Foo Fighters' new album is also of the same name as the documentary set to air on HBO by Oct. 17. The eight part docu-series wherein each episode takes fans into a different part of America hopes to show off the unique identity of music in each city. The documentary has been directed by Foo Fighters' frontman himself, Dave Grohl.
In addition to Foo Fighters' new album and documentary, a live stream of the bands' party concert entitled ""Foo Fighters Sonic Highways: Live From The Cubby Bear" will be made available on the official Facebook page of HBO. The live stream will feature a song from Foo Fighters' new album entitled "Something From Nothing."
As for Foo Fighters' new album, "Sonic Highways" will be out by Nov. 10 released by RCA/Roswell records. The new album features collaborations with Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen and Death Can For Cutie's Ben Gibbarda and Eagles' Joe Walsh. Talking about the new album, Grohl had a few words to say.
"This album is instantly recognisable as a Foo Fighters record, but there's something deeper and more musical to it. I think that these cities and these people influenced us to stretch out and explore new territory, without losing our 'sound,'" stated Grohl.
