Anne Hathaway movies are apparently not enough to prove she's sexy to her haters. After ditching the good girl image in "Princess Diaries" and appearing topless first in "Brokeback Mountain," the actress states she still gets hateful comments claiming she's not sexy enough.
Before Anne Hathaway's movies had exposed her sultry and sexy side, the actress played in adorable and conservative roles. Such Anne Hathaway movies to name a few include "The Princess Diaries," "Ella Enchanted" and "Rio."
Anne went on to take on daring roles and had first gone topless in the controversial film, "Brokeback Mountain." From then on, Anne Hathaway's movies had taken a turn from super funny and cute to incredibly sexy.
Two of Anne Hathaway's movies that showed off her sexy side was "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Love & Other Drugs." Despite the scandalous and sexy roles, Anne claims she still gets comments that she isn't good enough for such film roles.
"Even though I've had great success, touchwood, it hasn't been easy. A lot of people have told me, 'You are not this and so can't play that,' and I can't tell you the amount of times I've been told I'm not sexy. I just go, 'I'm a lot of things. Just because I don't wear my sexiness overtly doesn't mean that I can't become that girl for a role. That's what I do; I become things. Use your imagination, buddy.' So in terms of not listening to what other people told me about who I was as an actress and then really pursuing it, I think I've been daring in that way," stated the actress.
For one, the actress isn't letting the hate get in her way. One of Anne Hathaway's movies has managed to garner rave reviews and even win her an Oscar award. This would be none other than the film "Les Miserables."
