Robin Thicke's marriage with Paula Patton is coming to an end as the actress files for divorce.
It seems like the effort of the "Blurred Lines" singer is not that effective as he can't get his wife back. The couple who has been together for nine years previously announced their separation in February this year and since then, the 37 year-old singer become persistent of winning his wife's affection for the second time. Although the couple did not announce the real reason behind their separation eight months ago, many rumors claim that it has something to do with the singer's cheating issues.
There are several claims that Robin Thicke has become unfaithful to his wife and with that, the actress is very unhappy with her husband. To make the separation more official, new reports suggest that Paula Patton finally files for a divorce from her husband in Los Angeles last week. According to the court filings, the actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the dissolution of their marriage.
Ever since the couple's split, the singer has been vocal about his hopes to reunite with his estranged wife. He even wrote a song entitled "Get Her Back" and released an album "Paula" in honor of his other half; however, those moves doesn't seem to help him. According to latest rumors, it seems that Paula Patton is no longer giving her marriage with Robin Thicke a second chance especially now that she reportedly moved in with her new boyfriend, Zak Waters.
With the actress already living with a new man, it seems like Robin Thicke will no longer have a place in her heart as a husband. Although Paula Patton filed for the dissolution of their marriage, she also pleads for a joint custody of their son, Julian. The former couple met while they were still 15 and 14 and wed in 2005.
